Started out with a fresh Dunkelweiss, then a linken-luger (whatever) Sunset Wheat.

Now, I am having a pooh beer. It is pretty, clear and straw colored. It has a nice creamy head. It smells good. Only, it tastes like pooh.

EVERYTHING went wrong on that batch. Stuck sparge, bad conversion, bad yeast, ran out of propane. It is a 7% ABV Hefeweisen that tastes...like pooh.

Hell with it. Lime juice makes it taste like...lime pooh.

AND, it has 7% ABV.

:cross:

(So, what are you drinking? Not pooh, I hope)

I bottled 5 gallons of belgian pale ale that I did a secondary on blood oranges. Boy that tastes delicious at bottling. Also tested my RIS that is in the whiskey barrel from the group buy, and holy hell that is going to be awesome. I am now convinced a daily sample is in order so as not to end up overwhelming the beer.:rockin: And right now I am sipping a sample from my Belgian Dark strong sweet jesus, this is gonna pack a punch. With some serious aging this should be fantastic.

As for real beer, I am going to be good and have a pint of Ed's haus pale ale and call it a night. We are currently a week overdue for our baby and SWMBO MBO. If you catch my drift. ;)

Finishing off my Witbier. Now I have to go and put a six pack of my orange hefe in the fridge.

"Hell with it. Lime juice makes it taste like...lime pooh."

Heh, now I'm picturing a Saturday Night Live, Star Trek skit featuring Spock and Kirk that uses this line. :D

Cleaning out the fridge with swmbo.
Thirsty Dog Oatmeal Stout
Some old ass 2003 Irish Imperial stout that tasted liek cherries and olives the bottle shop guy raved about. We both dumped our half glasses.
2 bottles of Fat Tire
a bomber of Schlenkerla Marzen
a 12ozer of a random DME/Fuggles "SMaSH" I'd done with left over ingredients god know how long ago.
Decided the bomber of Apfelwein in there wasn't a good idea.

About to start (and eventually kill) a growler of amber from Bristol Brewery in Colorado Springs...

than maybe a few homebrew browns (I really need to enter this one in a comp. and if I win another brown award I'll need to change my name to AZ_Brown :D)
