Sanyo 4912(M) Refrigerator

I'm sure there are posts on the site with the same question but they may be a little outdated.

I know the Sanyo has been discontinued so I'm wondering what would be the exact match out there in stores right now? I was looking for the Sanyo 4912.

The Sanyo 4912 is 4.9 cu ft.

If you look for a comparable sized one make sure it doesn't have a freezer.

Have you tried Googling or eBay?

Yeah I've search for the Sanyo but it's about $100 just for shipping so I'm looking for a one that brewers have had experience with. I just don't want a random one with the same dimensions, I want to make sure people are using that model.

Have you searched Craiglist or Freecycle?

Just because it's been discontinued doesn't mean it's not available. Have you considered picking it up versus shipping?

Yeah I would definitely be down with picking up instead of shipping but you can't find it anywhere. Fry's is the only place I can find to do an in store pick up but they don't have any in my area.

Walmart has it with free site to store shipping. 239 is what I paid I believe
