Hey Everyone. I think i am ready to take the plunge into kegging and i found the Sanyo 4912 @ walmart for roughly 275$ and was hoping i could use the Double Dual Cornelius Keg System from MidWestSupplies -http://www.midwestsupplies.com/dual-double-cornelius-keg-system.html I was curious if i would have any issues fitting this conversion kit with this refrigerator. The tanks are 25" Tall x 9" diameter. Has anyone else gone this route? and had any problems?

Two ball locks plus a 5# co2 mounted in the back fit with no problem

here's a picture of mine, I've added a drip tray, but no prob getting 2 cornies and a 5# tank in there. you will have to cut the black plastic shelves off if the door though.

It can be done... and without removing the door shelves. As you can see in this pic.

I had a custom wood shelf shoved in the back. I cut it just wide enough to squeeze into the shelf supports just above the compressor hump. Front to back it was about 3 inches deep. I cut it with a jigsaw to have a sort of semicircle extending from the middle (so extending ~5" at that point) to serve as a support for the CO2 tank, and it occupied the deadspace between the kegs.

Note those are 3 gal kegs; 2x 5 gal kegs fit just fine as well, but obviously impede access to the regular controls.

how much $$ would you say you put into this system... I have been looking around and noticed that the conversion kit runs around 200$ and the fridge 300 After taxes.... I found a dual tap keg system online for $ 670 shipped and ready to go... ... I would like to build one from scratch, but i am limited on time and tools. So im wondering if paying the extra 170 dollars might be worth it... Any one out there purchased this system? http://stores.kegconnection.com/Detail.bok?no=186

if you arent totally attached to the door style cooler, you can grab a small 5 cu ft freezer and a temp controller for about the same price which would let you do 3 or 4 kegs if you were willing to do a little diy. HD had the holiday 5 cf freezer for 168 this weekend, add on a controller and you are under 250. that still leaves you 420 dollars to get the kegging setup, which should he available for about half that price.

Once I had all the pieces it took me a whole 45 minutes to make. check this video out, it was a big help:
all you need thats unusual is the bit that makes the hole in the top, that cost a whole $3 at lowes.
