santatizing keg system

is it true that i need to buy a sanatizing pump when i can just put sanitizing solution (one step) into the keg and pressurize it and then open the faucet?

i put starsan and water in keg, shake it up, turn on the gas and open the faucet and empty it. Your keg and liquid line is now sanitized.

I've always used sanitizer and just put it through the system w/ CO2. Haven't had a problem.

yep, I leave 1 gallon of star san in an empty keg until I use it, which is when I'll re-stanize the dip tube/tap line one last time by making sure the keg has pressure and dispensing a little star san.

star san won't eat your stainless keg or o-rings.

thank you because i was about to buy a san pump. then i got to thinking that i really dont need it.
