Sanitizing

I'm racking 2 gals of my nut brown onto 4 oz of werthers original candy in the secondary. Any thoughts in sanitizing?

Vodka?
Boil?

I would personally use vodka. I'd be concerned the candy would melt in a boil. You would also have to cool the candy before racking the beer on top of it.
