I recently acquired a Ball Tap setup and an extra 10 lb CO2 tank so that I can start to use 1/2 barrels in addition to my Corny setup.
My question is this:
The C02 regulator and lines are quite old. I have read that a lot of people don't bother with sanitizing these lines when they are new. I think the last time these were used was probably 5 years ago.
Would the general consensus be that I should just replace the lines and just move on? That is more or less what I am thinking at this point.
The line itself looks clean. What about the regulator and the actual tap, I would think i should atleast dunk these in a bucket of starsan and also be done.
I don't want to funk up a whole 1/2 barrel of good beer.
Thoughts?
