Sanitising plastic spigots?

Hi,

I suspect a wild yeast/bacteria infection in my equipment and I want to go nuclear on my plastic spigots.

After cleaning them with PBW I'm going to do one of the following:

1) boil, or
2) put in the microwave baby steriliser and steam

Then I will follow up by soaking in Starsan.

Should I boil or steam?

I am cheap and like to avoid spending money whenever I can, but in the case of spigots, they are difficult to clean and to me it is not worth the paranoia and/or ruined batches...so every so often, I just replace them.
