Sanitation worries after bottling

Hey Guys,

I just bottled today, but I have some worries about the sanitizer I used. I have a Brewer's Best kit that came with LD Carlson Company "no rinse" sanitizing powder. Now, it says no rinse, so I assumed that after dunking my bottles in the solution, I wouldn't have to rinse them out. So while I was bottling, I would fully submerge my bottle, dump it out, shake it out, then put the beer right into it. Should I be worried about dying after taking the first sip in a few weeks? Is it a problem if there was some minuscule amount of solution in the bottle?

As long as you mixed it according to the directions, you'll be just fine. Even if you made it a little more potent than required, I'm sure you'll still be just fine.

No.

That is a cleaner and you should use a sanitizer as well, like Star-san.

From what i know ez clean is very similar to one step. I have made wine for ten years, and I have used one step almost exclusively with not one infection. Just started making beer this fall (bout 5-6 batches under my belt) and again i exclusively use one step. no problems yet *knocks on wood*

One Step is a no rinse cleaner, but I do rinse. From my perspective, i know what ever is in my bottles is going to go into my body, and i would not like to ingest any sanitizer no matter if they claim its safe or not...

That is the same way that I did my bottles with my BB kit. I haven't died y......
