I bought a keg kit that has everything to keg a batch. The gas line and liquid line are all set up in the package with the connectors on them. Do I need to disassemble them and clean/sanitize them before I keg, or do those parts not matter so much?

You don't have to sanitize the gas lines- nothing can live in a 100% c02 environment, and they are clean to start.

I would not take everything apart. I'd just put some star-san in a keg, and push it through the lines with the c02. Easy, quick, and effective!

Also search this thread for "DIY Beer line cleaner". A few parts from the hardware store and one part from your LHBS and you can clean your lines and conserve CO2. I also use it to clean the dip tube in my kegs.
