Small batch beer, not quite IPA-ish to me, but mighty good. Good hop flavor and aroma but with a caramel or brown sugar twinge. Not sweet really, I'm not a fan of sweet beers. It just has a burnt sugar taste that works for me. I'll be getting more of this.

Had that, liked it. Had the Vixen, chocolate chili bock. Didn't like it. Had the Oaked barlywine blonde, loved it.

I was very surprised by this beer. I thought it was very good - on the drier side of doubles and way hoppier than expected from SA.

I absolutely loved the oaked barleywine too. I've bought it 2 more times since and have another in my cellar...it wasn't received particularly well I don't think but personally I love it.
