Sample Brew and Hops quantity

Hello,

If I want to do a sample brew...say 160oz, and I have 28g pelletized hops vac bags. How would I calculate how much of the 28g bag would be required for a 160oz sample?

Are you saying you only want to brew a total of 16 ounces?

I'm guessing one pellet.

160 oz is 1.25 gallons, the amount of hops you need will vary depending on the alpha acids of the hops, style of beer, and IBUs wanted. Try making a recipe in some brewing software. www.Brewmate.net is free if you don't already have software.
