Same brew same yeast but looks different

Brewed a small batch of sacred summit pa over the weekend using Denny's favorite yeast. These are 4 days in and the appearance is different.
One carboy shows the krausen has dropped and the other stuff is floating on the surface.
Any thoughts?

Here's another photo.
One basically has no krausen.
Yeast came from the same starter.
Should I shake the one that looks different to see if the yeast starts up, pitch more yeast or leave as is?

Both fermenters filled from the same pot? Then it's likely one got more of the break material/hop debris, etc. and that's why they look different. I bet all is well.

Same pot same everything. Could it be an under pitch issue?

Chances are it's no issue at all. I often brew double batches and seldom do both fermenters ferment out the same.

Same here. I brew 10g batches and when I split them into 5g primaries they are never the same visually. They typically taste the same unless I've done something intentional (different yeast, variable DH, Oak one, ECT)

There are endless variables that would contribute to this.

Alright, will assume nothing is wrong. First time I split a batch but figured both would ferment the same.
