I am an (ask me anything) Icelander in Norway, waiting for his tools and ingredients in the mail. I haven't brewed anything before, but jumping straight at the throat of all-grain brewing. I'll be making an IPA and some cider to begin with.

Not being able to think about much else for weeks, I have been reading everything I can find on the subject, and it seemed no matter where I went someone linked to this forum. After looking around on here I can see why.

Cider Rocks!! Some juice from the grocery and wine yeast...no boil. Just add an airlock and go for it.

Welcome to HBT and the brewing addiction!!

My wife is from Oslo and one of her cousins lives down there in Kristiansund. We vacation up in Gol. Wonderful place Norway :)

I've lived in Oslo for 17 of the 18 years I've been in Norway. And I'm actually there now. Dunerunner: I was thinking about adding some flavours to the cider, but I'm not sure, as I've been reading about beer for the most part. Any ideas?

Hmm cinnamon cider... then again that might be better if its sweet

Did you find norbrygg.no yet? there should be some good brewers close to you
