Tomorrow I'll be doing my second brew and attempting to make something as close to endeavour (previously divine reserve 11) without going AG (yet).

I've been searching around but haven't quite come up with any results other than this, but there wasn't any followup (and its AG). They usually give more information for their other beers but they did say that the OG was 1.078, 76IBU and ABV 8.9%.

I'm also limited to what my LHBS has since I want to get this started tomorrow.

So with those two major restrictions (no AG and what LHBS has in stock) I won't be able to hit the numbers exactly but hopefully I can still get something delicious and kind of close?

I've come up with the following:

9lb Briess Golden Light DME
2lb Crisp Crystal 77L - seeped

1.5oz Columbus @60m
1oz Centennial @15m
0.5oz Columbus @15m
1oz Centennial @flameout
1oz Simcoe @flameout

1oz Centennial 7-day dryhop
1oz Simcoe 7-day dryhop

with WLP001 as my yeast.

According to beer calculus this will give me the following:
OG 1.088
FG 1.021
72.6 IBU
and 8.9% ABV

FG is a little higher than I think it should be, OG possibly too but I don't know how to get those down and still hit the other numbers or what effect having a higher FG will have other than maybe a bit more malty flavor?

Is this going to be a tasty IPA? Comments/hints/suggestions?
