Anybody out there seen of, heard of or tried this Safbrew F-2?? Seems it's aimed at bottle and cask conditioning. Only blurb about it is on the official blog for Fermentis. Nothing on the main site. Actually, strike that last comment, it's on the craftbrewing section of the Fermentis site. http://www.fermentis.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/SFB_F2_EN.pdf

Being touted as great for solidifying sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Really quick to carbonate high ABV% beers (like less than 2 weeks for an 11.5%er) and neutrality of flavour impact.

That sounds great...but 20g packets for bottle conditioning...how much do they expect us to be bottling at once, especially if its literally only used to carb up in a bottle.

Perhaps this strain is optimized for CO2 production. Thus, the pitching rate could/would be different than, say, S-05.
