I want to install a head pressure gauge into my bright. Sabco sells a gauge that you can install onto the sanke coupler. I was wondering if it would still work with the co2 back flow preventer on the coupler in place, and if not couldn't beer come back up into the gauge?

I'm thinking of removing the pressure relief valve from the top o f the tank, install a "Y", then reinstall the pressure relief on one side, and a pressure gauge on the other. Does anybody see any issues doing this? Either with safety, sanitation, or that it just won't work to read head pressure?

Thanks

Seems like that should work, at least wrt both preserving the PRV function while adding the gauge.

It won't prevent flooding the gauge if the keg is overfilled or tipped, through...

Cheers!
