To keep anyone from quoting bible verses at me I will explain the name. It is a natove American name meaning 'White Bear'. I was given the name because, well, I am white and I am like a bear in temperment.

I have been wine and mead making since sometime in 2001. I had a small stroke back them and since I could not walk I got a new hobby until I could walk once again.

My results are mixed- 70/30 in favor but I tend to try my own recipes usig things many might not think if or have. My good recipes I keep as a secret since I may try to get them on the market.

Other than that I am a photograhper and artist and tend to travel to persue that.

That is the short version. The longer version and some of my work is on my sit.

[[Note-my mispellings are often caused from the stroke. If you notice over time I often hit the key next to the letter I meant to type. It becomes easier to decipher as one goes. Those mispellings are called 'Satantaisms". Other mispellings like 'ei' instead of 'ie' are simply because I am a moron. :D ]]

Welcome to HBT!
You have some really amazing photos on your site.

So, you make wine and mead which is good. Next thing you know, we may be able to talk you into making beer. It's been known to happen to innocent victims that wonder on to this site.

As for misspellings, you might take some good natured crap every once in a while but then so does everyone else. :D

Thanks for the kudos on the work.

I'm not real sure about beer making-truth is [gasp!] I never really developed a taste for it. I can stomach some like Coors/Red Dog and Yingling and have tried smaller brwers all over the U.S. on my journeys but...

Prolly the worst I ever had was some Navajo stuff....that was beyond nasty.

As far as ribbing-I can take it. I am pretty funny myself. I get comepared to other comedians all the time-people say things like "You know, compared to Eddie Murphey you really blow." ;)

Funny thing, I went through my whole life thinking I didn't like beer. Turns out I like beer, just not that swill that most people buy and drink. I had no point of reference other than the fizzy yellow nasty tasting stuff. A good homebrew can cure your dislike of the beverage. The nice thing about homebrew is you can make it to your liking. I like a lower alcohol, malty beer so I make it to suit myself. I still have to make stuff my hubby likes sometimes but since I love the process it's not a hardship.
