Has anyone brewed the Ryenator doppelbock found on brewingnordic. Com? I’m intrigued by it and haven’t brewed with rye in many many years.

I’m trying to plan out a bigger beer to brew in the next couple months to age until next fall/winter. Wondering if I try something like the rye Bock or just stick to an all barley Bock.

I brew a red with some rye in it . I like rye in a red . Some people don't though. I actually got the recipe off homebrewers association if I remember right. I say try it .

I think I may give it a go, something like this:

78% barke vienna
14% rye malt
3.5% cararye
3.5% melanoidin
1% blackprinz

25 ibu of something noble, big pitch of TUM35 lager yeast. Gotta dial in my efficiency on the robobrew and I’ll be set!
