Wondering if anyone has every done this. Figured if I could get it to fit through the front threading on the sight gauge through the base and into the kettle that this could work. It would definitely have to be a substantial longer probe. Not sure if they even make them that long. Reason is I was thinking of using the triclover port where the temp sensory is now as a dedicated whirlpool site. Any thoughts?

Like this? Pretty common I think. That's an Auber RTD probe, not sure which one. It extends into the kettle about 1" or so. Probably a 4" sensor.

Yep that's the idea. Issue is mine is connected with triclovers so i would need a much larger length. I will have to measure tomorrow to be exact but it may have to be 8" or so.
