I'm thinking about trimming off the plastic on the front of the can that is used by the trucks to lift the can and dump it.

This would be so I can raise the height of where the faucets (4) could be located. Otherwise they would be too low in my opinion.

I think a Dremel would do it best. Any advice on which model I should get?

Just a thought. Why not put the taps on the right or left side of the can. the lid will still lock closed and there is no cutting, just the holes for the taps.:mug:

That's an idea but not my first choice, yet.

The lid doesn't lock down. The feature on the front is for the garbage truck hook to pick up the can.

I would prefer, aesthetically, to have them on the front.

Thank you for the idea.

What model dremel? Any should work, just go slow when you cut the plastic and back off periodically, the cutting wheels heat up fast and will melt the plastic if you push too hard.
