I'll be heading to Hilton Head on the annual pilgrimage next month and am wondering if there are views on what breweries would be worth stopping by either around Hilton Head, surrounding cities, out as far as Savannah.
I've been to service brewing and moon river in Savannah. Both are decent. Service didn't allow anyone under 21 in the building, so it you have kids you may want to avoid.

The newest place is Southern Barrel in Bluffton. I was there last week. The beers were well made, but could have used a bit more hop flavor, IMO. And I am not considered a "hophead."
There is also Riverdog in Okatie, but I have not been there.
If you get a chance away from the wee ones, check out world of beer. It is just a couple blocks from Moon River and over 100 beers available last I was there. We used to go there as a platoon and then .... well shenanigans lol.
I live in HH and River Dog and Southern Barrel are good. Have not been to any places in Savannah brewery wise. World of Beer is always a good choice. If you're interested in bottles hit up Kroger on HH. They have a nice selection for a grocery store. If you have the time and it's not out of the way, Charleston is an amazing city to visit. My wife and I always hit up Coast Brewing and Westbrook and then go to Edmunds Oast for dinner. Charleston would be sure to please, trust me.
