So I'm attempting the cream ale recipe from the book Brewing classic styles. It calls for 1.7 lbs of Rice Syrup but the only thing my LHBS had was Rice Syrup solids. Anyone know a conversion? I'm guessing an equal amount of solids would be too much. Also the recipe says 3.3 lbs of Pilsner LME and 3.3 lbs of Light LME. They didn't have any Pilsner so I went with 6.6 lbs of the Light LME. Does this sound like it would still work?
