Rice Hull water displacement

Just a quick question, I've never used rice hulls for the mash before but tomorrow I will be due to the amount of pumpkin puree i'm adding in.

Does anybody know how much water per pound of rice hulls i'm going to loose from the hulls absorbing water?

The rice hulls should not affect your water calculations. They'll just keep you from gumming up your manifold/false bottom.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Mash as normal with the same amount you normally use per pound.
