Reusing dormant yeast

Greetings and Salutations!

I saved the dormant yeast from my recent brewing adventures and wanted to your opinion if I can reuse it. One such specimen has been in a fridge 4/27-2015 (today is 5/18) and looks like the first photo. There isn't much separation.

Below is the one I harvested 24 hours ago from brew, looks lot better.

Both jars are full of good yeast. The first jar has a little more hop debris, but the bottom layer still contains a large number of good yeast cells. This yeast can definitely be repitched if it was not from a very high gravity beer. Yeast from high gravity beers may have been to stressed to repitch. (How high is to high, I'm not sure.)
