Retirement beer ideas...

My dad retires for his second time in a few months(20 with USAF and 20 with Federal Govt). Though I have been homebrewing for 4 years and when he is over, he tries them all, he does not care for hoppy beers, my favorites. He says he likes the taste of Michelob Ultra (didn't know it had a taste) and he likes Cherry wheats. Anyone got any thoughts for an lighter tasting beer and a good retirement beer name? I have to have a great beer for the new keezer my mother has me making him. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I liked the Cream of Three Crops as well. In my case it took several months of conditioning for it to become a good beer, but I'm not much of a fan of that style. If I made it again I'd cut down on the Corn amount, maybe Cream of 2.5 Crops.

Charlie Papazian's "Amaizing Pale Ale" was very drinkable, and I could see it being a hit with drinkers who prefer lighter ales. The edition of Joy of Hombrewing that is the shop copy at LHBS called for corn flour if I recall,,,I substituted by weight flaked corn...
Seems I've heard good things about the recipe/beer: "My fathers Mustache."

Beer style; I have had good luck making a Moose Drool clone that seems to convert people pretty darn quick, but thats not Mic Ultra type of brew.

name; depends on what he did at work for USAF and USG. work in something about his past. So Bomber Brown, Missile Puke Pale, ISR IPA, Logistics Lager, Acquisition Ale, etc, etc....
