Well, I know this is a 6yr old thread now...but wanted to add my data nonetheless:
I'm using a cheap Walmart 12qt SS pot, no mention of induction but the bottom is magnetic (sandwiched bottom)
2 Gallons of Water
Strike: 69*F to 156*F in 20 minutes
Boil: 152*F to rolling boil in 13 minutes
Mueller RapidTherm Portable Induction Cooktop
