Its been 6 weeks since I bottled a IIPA and there is absolutely zero carbonation. And yes I did put the priming sugar in, what Im thinking is that the 10% alcohol volume has killed off any yeast activity that was possible. Im going to open all the bottles pour them into the bottling bucket and reintroduce yeast let set a few days then reprime and rebottle. Im hoping there isnt going to be any bottle bombs but I guess I shall see.
