Removing MiniKeg Bungs

My kegs have finally arived with bungs that have a hole in the middle.
They look like the attached pic.
As a test a put one in the keg... it took me a good ten minutes, sore fingers and a bent spoon to get it back out again. I have now ordered a different type of bung that i'm hoping wont be as hard to get out, but is there something I am missing with using these ones? Do I need to push the center through first to give them a bit more flex? I dont realy want to put one back in if its just as hard!

Ok, I jumped in and gave it a try. Even with it pushed in its a PITA to gt out again, but its a lot easier than leaving it in.

Getting the small part out the keg is a pain, but after what must have been 30 mins of trying I finally managed it by half filling the keg, tipping it upside down and then moving it in circles to create a whirlpool inside. Worked first try.
