Would you say that after 3-4 days in a swamp cooler, it's okay to remove my primary fermenter from it?

My basement is usually around 68*F. I used a swamp cooler this time because I was using notty for the first time and wanted to keep it under control in case the yeast went crazy (kept it between 62 and 66--fermentation temp, not ambient).

I actually never bother removing mine from the cooler, I just stop feeding it frozen water bottles after that length of time, and let is slowly come up near room temp. The thing about water is that it will help cushion any rapid shifts in temp. If suddenly the temp spikes in mid afternoon into the 90's in your place, it will still be several hours before the water becomes that...and the t-shirt wick will still be evarporating as well, keeping the beer a few degrees cooler.

It's one of those things that doesn't really matter one way or another....taking it out or leaving it in, both will work....:mug:

I leave my tshirt and the water in for the full time it is in primary, and keep rotating in ice until the kruzen breaks.
