I mixed up 4 gallons of PBW in hot water for cleaning new kegs but wasn't able to clean them immediately like I thought I would. It's been sitting in a clean plastic bucket for a week.

How long is it "good" for if I haven't used it yet?

Will it keep it's cleaning properties if I reheat it on the stove?

I've only been using it a few months, but I read it can be used for a while. Usually I use it for 2-4 weeks with no problems and no need to reheat. I assume if it feels soapy and is sudsy, its working; or maybe I'm using too much elbow grease.
