Hi,

I am hoping somebody can give me some direction.

I purchased a regulator off ebay and I just hooked it up yesterday with my new 20#. When I increase the pressure over 40psi on the one regulator (its a dual) gas comes out the weep hole and a little form the adjustment screw. I tried plugging the weep hole for a second and the pressure increases on the gauge.

There seems to be no leaks at pressures below 40, but I am concerned it will start too. It is a Cornelius regulator.

I am hoping Chuggs or someone else can chime in with some advice

How comfortable are you with tearing into the regulator? If you are ok with it, pop her open and you will find a brass screw inside that has probably become loose. Tighten it down and your problem should be solved. That screw holds in the round diaphram that is there to regulate pressure. I found this out from the pepsi guy when he replaced a regulator for the local eagles club. I followed his instruction and scored a free regulator. ^5 John from pepsi

Thanks djsethall!

I took apart everything and gave it a clean and put it back together. Everything works flawlessly now. Now back to brewing beer
