Refurbished Thermapen?

I am in the middle of buying another thermometer and ran into interesting offer on ebay, refurbished Thermapen for £28.80 (~ $46).

According to seller units are supplied in like-new condition and include the full warranty. All include a calibration certificate.

it's how i bought mine 2 yrs ago, refurbished, and still works fine with the original battery.

Yeah, but no shipping offered to the US. Can't post a question to the seller either.

I bought mine refurbished, but directly thru Thermoworks. They put them on sleep once or twice a year.
