Refractometer woes

My Ebay refractometer has developed an issue with moisture on the lens inside. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it. I can't get a reading when it is fogged up inside and can't seem to get it apart to get into that area.

when does it happen? only when you put hot wort on there or all of the time?

Put it in a bag of rice moisture gone in less then 24 hrs

I'll try the rice idea, obviously raw rice.

It must have a leak where the glass meets the aluminum frame so the lens fogs up and doesn't clear completely.

that rice thing worked for swmbo's cell phone once.. surprisingly well actually

Rice didn't get it done. Hairdryer however did the trick pretty quickly.
