I recently bought a refractometer, and got is calibrated and everything appears to be working fine, but I am getting bad reading on my beer after fermentation. The hydrometer will read 1.015 but the refractometer will read 1.032. Happens with all fermented beer. I can use wort, or sugar water and both are in sync, but after fermentation it is coming up wrong.

Temps are the same. I can literally take a sample from my hydrometer test tube and put in in the refractometer and get completely different results.

Any ideas?

Refractometer won't give an accurate reading once alcohol is present. There are adjustment factors you can calculate but it's really just easier to use a hydrometer for FG readings.
