Reducing C02 tank to fit cartridge threads?

Does anyone know the cleanest, easiest way of reducing your full size 5lb or larger, co2 feed so that you can thread the end of your gas line into something that accepts the 16g threaded CO2 cartridges?

I can't seem to find anything using either the forum search or google.

but I'm pretty sure it's out there.

I guess what I'd be looking for is a brass 3/8-24 male to 5/16 barbed adapter.

Any reason why that wouldn't work, or any idea where I might find such a thing?
