Hey Guys,
I am looking for a good recipe for a Extract Only Red Ale. Does anybody
have one or tried one?
Thanks

You could use Williams Brewing's red LME, which is quite good, with some sugar and some steeped crystal. Simple. Done.

3lbs. dark DME, .5lb Gambrinus Honey Malt for steeping. One ounce of East Kent Goldings hops (5AAU) and S-04/Nottingham dry yeast.
Boil your hops and wort for about 30 minutes. The recipe is for three gallons, but for a 5 gallon batch, you can add two pounds of DME and two ounces of hops for 30 minutes and still stay within the Irish red ale guidelines.

I've been wanting to make a red ale myself using all grain but haven't gotten around to it because I still have Pils and wheat grain lying about.
