One gal glass jugs. I have some solid rubber bungs in the correct size for the jug with the airlock hole, they will not stay seated. Is there something I need to do or a different kind or just trash them and use something different?

Sometimes if there is moisture they will slip. If you sanitize it and reseat it then wrap some plastic wrap snuggly and secure it on the jug handle it will eventually dry and stay in place. I hope that helps. I had to do that with a car boy and blowoff tube once.

You are using an airlock yes?

Yes, I’m using airlock with it. I’ll try the plastic wrap. Its been a couple of days now, looks like it should have dried out by now. Even when dry the rubber bung feels almost slick. I didn’t know if I had a bad brand. Thanks

They pop out when there's any moisture between the bung and the glass.

Use a paper towel to dry the inside of the carboy neck where the bung will touch, and make sure the bung is dry.
You shouldn't need anything else to hold it in place.

Those caps break really easily.
Look at those reviews.

Exactly. In theory they are really nice but I received about 6 of them with a set of gear I purchased and I have none left. Maybe got one use out of each one. After breaking the first few I was extremely careful with the rest and they all eventually cracked. YMMV
