I have found the Milwaukee MW-101 to perform well and it has a replaceable probe to will further reduce the cost of ownership.

To answer the accuracy question above: Yes, a pH meter does need 0.01 resolution in order for the user to determine if the reading has stabilized. While we brewers are not concerned with determining the pH down to the hundredth (tenths are good enough), it will be impossible to assess how well your meter is reading if the output is only in tenths.
