I mistakenly received a 50lb sack of Vienna instead of 2-row. The online retailer is going to send me the 2-row sack and I get to keep the Vienna. It takes
me about ~6 months to use the 2-row and I don't have much more storage for another sack. Anyone have a recipe/idea for brews that use a majority Vienna? Thanks in advance.

Amber European lagers would probably be the most common group, but I've made a nice American style pale ale with single malt Vienna and American hops. I've also done a Vienna/Saaz smash that was a great lawnmower beer.

I think you could make a saison with 100% Vienna. The malt will hide some of the yeast's character so it might not be a blue-ribbon winner, but I think it'd be good.

Or how about a Märzen?

Vienna SMaSH beers are awesome.

All vienna is excellent for pale ales, IPAs, lagers, saisons, belgian blondes and belgian pales (probably lots of other styles too).

Add a bit of crystal for something a bit darker.

It's really versatile and much tastier than plain 2-row.

Send it to me if you can't store it!

Make recipes you'd normally make with two row and compare them. Vienna is good in almost anything though, really. It's about as light as Pale Ale malt and quite tasty. It's not appropriate for absolutely everything, but almost everything.

I would do a SMasH - Vienna Lagers all the way

I'm also partial to Mexican beers that can be done as a SMaSh or all Vienna and different hops

You can also do an IPA or Saison; Vienna isn't that much different from 2-row. It can make up to 100% of the grist

Wow thats fortunate! My next beer will be a Vienna lager and a Wakatu Kolsch
