Hey everyone, I need help finding a part of a recipe. I want to make the Grand American Slam Ale from The Complete Joy of Home Brewing. I need help finding the Brewferm Trappist-style Belgian Beer kit (hopped) extract. If anyone could send me a link to a website that has it or tell me where you have seen it that would be great! Thanks!

Google it. Brewferm is a brand name and there are places like monster brewing and adventures in homebrewing that stock it. You might also ask your LHBS if they stock a "pre-hopped Belgian beer extract." From what I see online, Brewferm makes a few different styles of Trappist beer kits. They make an Abbey Kit and a Darker Belgian kit. The term "Trappist," isn't so much a beer style as a term referring to a limited number of monasteries of monks producing beer in Europe. These monks actually produce a number of different styles including Belgian pale ales, dubbels, tripels and quads.

Here's a link to a place selling the kits online.
