So I tried to modify Bell's Two Hearted IPA to something with malts I can get my hands on. The recipe is now as follows:

Centennial IPA (5 gallons)
19 Liters Water (bottled)
4.5kg Pale Malt, Maris Otter (3.0 SRM)
0.75 kg Vienna Malt (Weyermann) (3.0 SRM)
188g Caramel/Crystal Malt (20.0 SRM)
188g Cara-pils/Dextrine (2.0 SRM)

17.7g Centennial pellets @ 10.3% a.a. (60 min)
11.8g Centennial pellets @ 10.3% a.a. (45 min)
11.8g Centennial pellets @ 10.3% a.a. (30 min)
17.7g Centennial pellets @ 10.3% a.a. (15 min)
1.00 Whirlfloc Tablet (Boil 10 min)
11.8g Centennial pellets @ 10.3% a.a. (0 min)

1 pkgs White Labs WLP001 California Ale Yeast or WLP051 California Ale V Yeast or Denny’s Favorite 50 (Wyeast #WY1450)

47g Centennial pellets @ 10.3% a.a. (dry hop 14 days)

Original Gravity: 1.068
Final Gravity: 1.017

First of all, I want to ask your opinion about it. Would this be any good? What would you change to make it closer to Bell's? Obviously I left out the Cascade and went all-Centennial.

Second, how can I convert this into a BIAB recipe, ending up with a 5 gallon batch as well?

You don't have access to pale malt? Bell's recipe is *supposedly* like this:

10 lb (4.5 kg) | Briess Two-row Brewers Malt (1.8°L)
2.83 lb (1.3 kg) | Briess Pale Malt (3.5°L)
8.0 oz (227 g) | Briess Caramel (40°L)
1.2 oz (34 g) | Centennial pellets, 9.1% a.a. (45 min)
1.2 oz (34 g) | Centennial pellets, 9.1% a.a. (30 min)
3.5 oz (99 g) | Centennial pellets, 9.1% a.a. (dry hop)
White Labs WLP001 California Ale Yeast or WLP California Ale V Yeast

Your grist will be fairly different, but still good IMO. I'm not sure what you mean convert it to BIAB? You can take any all grain recipe and just put the grains in the bag.

Yeah so it will be my first BIAB try. I mostly wondered how much water I should start with, to end up with 5 gallons in the fermenter. So what should be my pre-boil volume? 6.6 gallons like in the recipe? If I understand it correctly, I just bring 6.6 gallons to the mash temperature and then put my bag of grains in, after which the mash process begins?
