I brewed Cushlomarchree Stout from TJOHB, got an O.G of 1.052. I assume I over shot the recipe range of 1.048-1.050 because i didn't have a proper scale for the DME. I used a vial of WLP004 irish ale yeast. I meant to try my first yeast starter with this batch, but poor timing caused me to lose the opportunity. Today is 2 weeks in primary, and i have had F.G. of 1.017 on Wednesday and today. It was fermenting around 65 initially and nearer to 68 this week. This was my first time paying attention to attenuation, and seems i am missing the attenuation of this yeast (69-74%). Is the fermentation done cause I had two of the same F.G. readings, or may it finish a little more? Thanks.
