Re-using plastic bottle caps

Hi, I was wondering if it ok to re use plastic bottle caps for my PET bottles. Should i remove the gasket out of each of them and sanitize or just sanitize them intact?

Don't worry about it. You can reuse them as long your beer stay carbonated. Just clean them, you don't have to sanitize bottle cap.

You probably could reuse them, but I just buy new ones.

I just rinse them off when I'm done and when it comes time to bottle I just soak in star San. I have reused the same caps about 5 times now.
