I had a 5L mini keg of Bell's Oberon given to me yesterday. I'm the only beer drinker in the house, and most of my friends drink cheap beer. I don't want to drink this all in one night:drunk:, but I don't want it to go to flat.
I had the idea of puting some of it in sanitized bottles & capping it for later. Can this be done without loosing the carbonation? (I know if you reseal a soda bottle, it will loose most of the carbonation in a short amount of time.)

You can do it,

All you need is a racking cane and a #2 stopper...if it is well carbonated

I've seen those mini-kegs before, and I'm not sure that you can jam a racking cane into its spigot.

But never fear! Mike "Tasty" McDole bottles right from the spigot, no fancy beer-gun required. The trick is to freeze the bottles for an hour or so before bottling, to minimize foaming.
