Or this could be asked, how do you know if the amount of aroma hops you add will be too much?

I realize everyone has a different taste, but are there any favorite methods or guidelines for the amount of aroma hops you add vs the amount of bittering hops?

The problem being most of the IBUs will come from the stronger bittering hops at ~60 minutes, and if you add the same or 4-10x more aroma hops let's say in the last 10 minutes, won't make too much of a difference on the IBUs but potentially huge on the flavor but there's no way to measure or calculate flavor, at least ahead of time to play around with different combinations before actually brewing. i.e. are favorites 1-1, or double the aroma vs bitter and 4x is too much? I know I can try different options and see what happens, just hoping someone else has pushed some of these limits before and has a ballpark idea of how much is too much with the aroma.

Really depends what type of beer you're making. When I make an Oktoberfest I just add one charge of hops at 60min and that's it. If I'm doing and IPA I'll add very little bittering hops and a ton of aroma hops at the end of the boil. I don't think there is some 'Golden Ratio' to go by. It just depends on what you want out of your beer.
