I'm just curious what you think of this crush. It is from my LHBS and I get really high efficiency numbers with it. I bought the same ingredients from an online store and my efficiency dropped about 15points.

So does this look like a good crush?

That looks pretty good. There should be lots of small particles with some flour and the husks in large pieces.

I can't tell if the large pieces are husks or uncrushed grain. If it's uncrushed grain, that's probably why you lost efficiency.

Actually, this is from the LHBS and I get over 80% efficiency with this grist. I don't have any pictures of the grain from the online order but my efficiency was under 70% with the same recipe...
