I'm interested in capturing wild yeast. I made some starter wort with dry extract. Using some raspberries from the yard, I placed them into the wort in a pint jar. After a couple of days this film appeared. It was white, thin and covered the entire surface. My question, what might this film be? It doesn't smell terrible but doesn't smell like beer. It's sort of like a fruity wine type aroma. The pictures are after I swirled it around some so the film is now broken up.
