I brewed up a lighter, slightly sweeter beer with a balanced hop profile that had an OG of 1.05 and finished at 1.004 (6% ABV). By itself it was actually really tasty, but today I added 1kg (2.2 lbs) of frozen raspberries. Assuming this re-starts fermentation, how do I calculate the final ABV of the finished product?

You won't be able to do that with any accuracy. You could google the carbohydrate content of raspberries and then estimate an ABV based on the sugars they contain but.... the yeast won't consume 100% of those sugars.

I'd suggest doing it the long math way. Check the mead forums for how they calculate ABV on meads and you'll find a fairly complex formula for calculating an ABV.

Thanks, that's kind of the answer I expected. While I COULD do the math, for my purposes, it's probably just as good to call it +6%.
