This. I will say that for American wilds, they make arguably the most balanced wild beers out there IMO. I haven't had a bottle that was anywhere near enamel stripping. I've always been able to finish a decent sized pour and go for seconds and that's really all I can ask for in an American sour. Curious what others think.
They make some enamel strippers. It's getting better, mostly, but it happens.

anyone else go to the release party last night?

Got to barrel sample some unnamed beer last night. They said it was an apricot sour with a ton of peaches added. You could def taste a ton of peaches. My guess is it is Map of The sun with Peaches. Map of Venus?!?!?

I am not feeling this years set of releases at all.

What | Keen Observation is a golden sour beer aged in unrinsed Map of the Sun barrels, which makes it part of our Echo Series. Hints of the microorganisms and apricots that created Map of the Sun deepen the complexity of Keen Observation. This Echo Series release presents notes of citrus peels with traces of juicy apricots. Click here for more info on Keen Observation.

Awesome. Pretty simple idea, but I'm excited to try it.

I'm just glad they ended up bottling it. I heard they had it at their anniversary last year I think? and ever since trying map of the sun, I've been super interested in trying it!
