I bitched about the pricing and making us buy the growler and glassware in the membership.

I also requested a grape beer. I wish I would have thought about requesting some farmhouse style stuff.

No one mentioned how this is not an exclusive club at all? In conversation many have already pointed out that anyone can walk in off the street for an Ambassadors pour (I don't remember the price or size of pours, but it would be interesting to compare the price per oz of a pour vs a member's bottle).

Don't get me wrong: the beer is good, just not worth the asking price.

I do believe they run about 7-8 per pour. ANd the pours are 10 oz's. I could be wrond on pour size

I'm not sure what time I'll show up, probably depends on how horrific traffic looks. I think I'll be sort of be anti-commuting but pretty much no matter what, if you drive on 80 during commute hours you're gonna have a bad time.

Yep. Had a going away party for a coworker. Sitting on the 101 now. Should be there 630 instead. Stick shift in the Bay Area is so good.

I was quite disappointed with Impossible Soul. I was hoping for cherry fruit bomb with the typical sour but not super funky RB base. In the end, it just tasted like the base beer with some vague, too subtle fruitiness. Like all not-great RB beers, it was good, but just that. Good.

It was good seeing stupac2 and buzzword though.

Ales for ALS was awesome though.

Ales for ALS was great when I was up there last weekend. I know some people aren't crazy about Equinox, but it works really well in that hop blend. Tangerang is still my favorite hoppy sour, though.

It's disappointing to hear that Impossible Soul isn't living up to expectations. At least I didn't max out on it.
